Tutorial: Grant User Account Request

  1. Login administrator.
  2. Administrator (User menu) > Administration > Account requests.
  3. Accept user account request.
  4. Observe that the request has been processed and removed from the list of account requests.

    NOTE: If a user needs additional access, such as administrator or superuser access, then the administrative user must go to their account in the Django administration page and ensure they have that access. Otherwise, the user will have non-admin level access by default.

    Verify the account exists and is ready for the user to login.

  5. Administrator (User menu) > Administration > Django admin > User accounts > User.

  6. View account configuration, confirming its existence.
  7. Observe the account's status.
