Tutorial: Access Records in Workspace

  1. User > Workspaces.
  2. Click View button to see the records contained in this workspace.
  3. Observe the records in this workspace.

    NOTES: A given user may access records in several ways:

    1. Create the records (which deposit/save) the records directly in their account's private workspace when they first create their own records.
    2. Recieve records from other users who transfer ownership to them.
    3. Have records appear through workspace sharing - wherein others have included them as having read access in some workspace/group structure.
    4. Users may also sometimes be enabled to write/change records in other workspaces without being able to necessarily see them.

      NOTE: This last case would be a kind of write-only scenario - wherein a given user could write to a given workspace but could not read from it.

  2. Click View button to see the records contained in this workspace.

  3. Observe the records in this workspace.
